Marketing initiative recognised at industry awards

  • Posted

Following the recent success of our new brand and website at the beginning of 2019, we are delighted that this project has been shortlisted for the Best Business Development/Marketing Award at the annual LawNet Awards 2019. Ed Voller, Managing Partner, here speaks of the journey we have been on as a firm over the last two years, and explains the importance of the LawNet Awards within the legal sector.

Our branding story

“The last two years have been particularly important to us as we work towards our new image, as well as launching a new Practice Management System, which went live in June,” begins Ed.  “Both of these projects have been driven by the need to provide our clients, future clients and employees with the very best service and experience that truly reflects who we are as a firm embracing all of our services for individual and commercial sides of the business.  Our desire was to have a fresh brand with a new website promoting interactivity, engagement, an improved client experience and opportunities for the future to link with our new Practice Management System.”

After several months of research which included all members of staff and clients of the firm, six brand values were developed to form the basis of the new image.  These values are Heritage, Innovative, Friendly, Human, Professional and Good Value.  Ed continues, “As a firm we were already living and breathing these brand values, but having them articulated to form the foundations of our future made perfect sense.”

Who are LawNet?

LawNet is a membership organisation for independent law firms offering support in a variety of ways, for example training, access to local and national resources and the ability to share best practice.  Membership is highly sought after and can only be by invitation only; law firms must meet LawNet’s stringent quality and service criteria before being invited, including independent accreditations and proven success in client service and satisfaction levels.

“We truly value our membership with LawNet and are proud that we continue to meet their high standards year on year,” explains Ed.  “We see ourselves as part of the best 70 firms across the UK who have been recognised for their successes, and so to be a finalist in one of the categories for the annual awards means we are the best of the best.”

“Our re-brand was a real labour of love for all concerned, from all of our valued employees to our clients and suppliers,” concludes Ed.  “We were already looking forward to the annual conference, which this year celebrates LawNet’s 30th birthday, but now with the possibility of this prestigious award, it will be another highlight of our already meaningful year.”

Winners of the LawNet Awards 2019 will be announced during the evening gala dinner awards ceremony on the 8th November.  The Awards will follow the annual conference, which is the flagship event in the LawNet calendar every year.  You can find out more about our branding journey by clicking here, or follow us on our social media channels for any announcements on the night:
