Shakhzoda Karshieva

Shakhzoda joined our Litigation team as an Assistant in July 2025, bringing with her valuable experience from placements at several local firms across the South of England. During these placements, she worked across a range of departments, including Dispute Resolution, Corporate law and Private Client.

Shakhzoda graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2025 with a First-Class Honours degree in Law with Business, a dual degree that also earned her a prize for overall best performance in her module.

Looking ahead, Shakhzoda hopes to undertake a training contract through our WG Academy Programme and continue building her legal career in litigation and corporate law.

In her current role, Shakhzoda supports the Litigation team by helping progress client matters efficiently from initial enquiry through to resolution. Her responsibilities include drafting legal documents, managing and updating case files, and liaising with clients to ensure they are supported throughout the process.

Outside of work, Shakhzoda enjoys an active yet relaxed lifestyle. She was a member of the Tennis Society at university and likes to try new experiences—whether that’s parasailing, hiking, or simply discovering a new favourite TV series.
