The new month starts with celebrations here at Warner Goodman LLP as we congratulate Kiri Saunders-Brown and Julia Beach on their promotions to Associate status.

Julia joined the Fareham based Residential Conveyancing team in February 2020, and has been a Solicitor for over 25 years.  She has brought with her valuable knowledge of a variety of conveyancing and property matters, including freehold and leasehold transactions, high net worth sales and purchases, shared ownership properties as well as more niche requirements such as plot purchases and lease variations.  Over the years, Julia has earned an enviable reputation not only in Hampshire but across the South following her time working in London firms and uses her connections and experience when working with her clients and colleagues alike.

Julia commented, “When I joined the firm last February, no-one could have envisaged what the next 12 months had in store for us.  Joining a firm just before the pandemic and subsequent lockdown of course meant that we couldn’t meet our colleagues in the usual way, but I have been encouraged by the determination we have all shown to continue to provide the very best for our clients, meeting the tight deadlines where we can and managing their expectations.  I am thrilled to have been promoted and value the recognition from my peers across the firm.”

Kiri’s time in the Residential Conveyancing department also began in early 2020, joining the Southampton based team in March and bringing with her over 14 years experience of working within the property market.  A well known and respected member of the Conveyancing community in Hampshire, Kiri has developed excellent relationships with her colleagues, clients and referrers over the last 12 months, leading her team with drive and understanding during what has been a difficult and often pressured year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  In addition to working with her clients on property sales and purchases, Kiri is also well versed in undertaking re-mortgages, equity release and more complex conveyancing transactions involving higher value properties.

Speaking of her promotion, Kiri commented, “I have thoroughly enjoyed the last year at Warner Goodman LLP and to be promoted after a short time with the firm is a proud moment for me.  We have had to adapt to a new working environment but all of my colleagues from across the firm have supported each other and I am excited to see what the future holds for my career and the firm as a whole.”

Andy Munden, Managing Partner, spoke of the promotions, saying, “Our Property teams have certainly seen their fair share of challenges over the last 12 months, but Kiri and Julia have both approached these with tenacity and resilience when providing the best service possible for our clients during a difficult climate and ever changing goal posts, particularly regarding the Stamp Duty holiday.  They both regularly receive glowing reviews and comments from their clients, demonstrating that client satisfaction is at the top of their priorities.  I am delighted to be able to reward their hard work with this promotion, and look forward to seeing where their future takes them with the firm.”

While our offices are not currently open for appointments in light of the Government restrictions, the members of our Residential Conveyancing department are still working remotely.  You can contact Kiri, Julia or a member of the team by using the phone numbers below, or email conveyancingquote@warnergoodman.co.uk.
