Andy Munden
Prior to joining Warner Goodman LLP, Andy graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc in Economics. He then turned to the Law and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. He originally worked for the firm from 1995 to 1999 and returned in 2002 within the Personal Injury team. He was proud to be promoted to a Partner in 2010, especially as he was the first non-solicitor Partner in the 160 year history of the firm, and in September 2020 he moved away from Personal Injury and took on the role of being the firm’s Managing Partner.
In addition to this full time management and compliance role, Andy continues to lead the IT provision, with a particular interest in the efficient delivery of legal services in a customer focussed way. Andy works with stakeholders within the firm and also third party contacts to ensure we continue to innovate and deliver customer service excellence in all areas of the practice, both for individual and commercial clients. It was during his time in this role that he oversaw the successful implementation of a new Practice Management System in June 2019, which has revolutionised the way we work with our clients and will continue to do so as technologies and demands change in the coming years.
Over his 20 years with the Personal Injury team, Andy supported his clients with their claims for compensation after sustaining injuries through accidents at work or on holiday, trips, slips and falls, and in later years went on to specialise in serious or catastrophic injuries and professional negligence claims. Andy is a well respected leader in the legal community, being a previous Professional member of the Professional Conduct Panel of Cilex Regulation, who are the regulator for issues of breach of the code of conduct of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, as well as being a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
In his spare time Andy enjoys playing golf and watching the Saints (although that is not always enjoyable!). Andy is married to Teena and he is a devoted family man with two daughters.
