Matthew Sweet

Matthew joined the firm in January 2023 as an Assistant in the Litigation team and later became part of the WG Academy as an Apprentice Solicitor.

He is currently working towards qualification as a solicitor through the Solicitor Qualifying Exam route with the University of Law.

As part of his training, Matthew rotates through different departments to gain a broad range of legal experience. He is currently supporting the Commercial Property team, assisting with a variety of matters to help progress transactions and provide a smooth service to clients.

Matthew graduated from the University of Southampton in 2019 with a degree in History, before going on to complete a Law degree at the University of Law in 2021. His academic background reflects his strong analytical skills and commitment to a career in the legal profession.

Originally from Cornwall, Matthew is a keen swimmer, a history enthusiast, and a self-confessed film buff.
