Kevin Barker

Kevin joined our Private Client team in October 2025 as a Trusts & Tax Manager, bringing over 25 years of experience in trust administration and tax planning. He holds a STEP Diploma (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), a respected qualification in trust and estate planning, as well as a degree in Spanish and a Master’s in Applied Linguistics and TEFL from the University of Portsmouth.

Kevin's passion for trust and inheritance tax planning developed over his 12 years in the banking and financial sector, where he gained valuable experience in trust management. The STEP Diploma was a key milestone in his career, helping him progress to the role of Trust Manager, and later apply his expertise in both the investment and legal industries.

At Warner Goodman, Kevin advises clients on all aspects of estate and inheritance tax planning, from drafting trust deeds to supporting trustees in trust administration. He particularly enjoys building lasting client relationships and keeping clients informed about the latest developments in trust and tax law.

Outside of work, Kevin is a keen runner and has completed six marathons. When he’s not training for his next running event, he enjoys playing classical guitar and spending time in his garden.
