Grant joined the Company Commercial team in December 2020, bringing with him valuable experience gained as a Solicitor at a large Portsmouth-based firm since qualifying in 2017. He was promoted to Associate at Warner Goodman in 2023 before becoming a Partner in 2025.

Grant studied Law at Oxford Brookes University, graduating with First Class Honours. He then completed the Legal Practice Course and earned a Master’s degree (LL.M) in Professional Legal Practice from The University of Law.

In his current role, Grant advises clients in Hampshire and beyond on a wide range of corporate matters, including share and asset sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, debt-financed acquisitions, loan agreements, equity investments, group reorganisations, and shareholders’ agreements. He specialises in working with owner-managers who are buying or selling businesses and has handled transactions valued up to £20 million.

Grant also has extensive experience in commercial law, particularly in drafting and negotiating distribution agreements, terms and conditions, supply agreements, and collaboration agreements.

He was named Hampshire Law Society’s Junior Lawyer of the Year in 2018 and has been shortlisted by LawNet for National Rising Star Lawyer of the Year in 2023 and National Junior Lawyer of the Year in 2017.

Outside of work, Grant is a long-time supporter of Portsmouth Football Club and regularly attends matches at Fratton Park. He is also a fan of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers and hopes to travel to Florida to watch a game in person. When not following sports, Grant enjoys gardening and growing his own vegetables, as well as attending comedy nights and West End theatre productions.
