HR Hangout - Creating a Diversity and Inclusion agenda

Creating a culture in your business that embraces diversity and inclusion is vital, not only for ethical reasons but for morale, recruitment, encouraging a wide variety of ideas and enhancing productivity.  While Covid-19 may have distracted us from working towards, or developing our diversity and inclusion strategies, employers must remain committed to this moving forward.

Our next HR Hangout events will focus on diversity and inclusion in two separate sessions.  Our initial session will cover the following topics:

  • What might a diversity and inclusion agenda look like?
  • What is the business case for investing in this agenda?
  • What factors keep inequalities in place?
  • What is unconscious bias and how does it impact our decisions?
  • What can people managers do to drive the agenda?

Our HR Hangouts are designed to update on the current events that will be affecting your business, as well as the opportunity to share best practice and learn directly from your fellow attendees who will undoubtedly be experiencing similar issues.

This event on Wednesday 20th October running from 10am until 11am will provide you with the insight as to why diversity and inclusion is such a powerful topic, providing you with valuable tools to assist you and your managers, with attendance charged at just £25 plus VAT.  You can confirm your attendance by emailing events@warnergoodman.co.uk or completing the registration form.

After registering, we will be in touch regarding payment for the event.  For our Peace of Mind Members, you can use attendance to the HR Hangout as one of your two free places included within your membership (details on our future HR Hangouts and Masterclasses can be found on our Events page, or contact Karen Clarkson for more details on using your allocation by emailing karenclarkson@warnergoodman.co.uk).
