Mental Health Masterclass

Our Mental Health masterclass has become one of the most popular events in our masterclass calendar and the Covid-19 pandemic has evolved the conversation even more when it comes to our mental health.  It has never been more essential for businesses to know how to manage and support employees who may experience mental health issues, at a time when we are all coming to terms with the impact the virus has had.

For some, the pandemic has made it easier to discuss mental health, however for others it can still be difficult for people to speak out if they are suffering, which can lead to issues in the workplace, including a drop in productivity levels, conflicts with colleagues as well as increased sickness absence.

Dr Laura Pearse will once again be joining us for our virtual Mental Health Check Masterclass as we focus on how you can promote an environment that encourages conversations about mental health in a Covid-19 world.  Using relevant case scenarios throughout, we will cover the following topics:

  • The processes to adopt when an employee is suffering with poor mental health.
  • How to spot the signs, particularly when employees are working remotely.
  • When and how to involve Occupational Health.
  • Potential claims that could arise.
  • Managing long term sick leave due to poor mental health.
  • Potential grievance or disciplinary issues that could arise and how to manage those.

Places for our masterclasses are booked quickly, and while we are offering this as a virtual event, places are still limited to ensure we can facilitate discussions accordingly.  Places are charged at just £75 plus VAT; to book your place to attend, you can register for the event or email Karen Clarkson at karenclarkson@warnergoodman.co.uk.  She will then send you the appropriate link and your invoice for payment.

We will always confirm your booking with 48 hours; if you do not receive confirmation, please call Karen on 023 8071 7478.

For our Peace of Mind Members, you can use attendance to the Masterclass as one of your two free places included within your membership (details on our future HR Hangouts and Masterclasses can be found on our Events page, or contact Karen for more details on using your allocation).
