Employment Law Seminar - Defeating Discrimination and Encouraging Inclusivity
In today’s more inclusive and diverse society, making sure people from all walks of life have an equal playing field is a top priority. Studies have also recently found that having an inclusive and accepting workplace has become a top condition for many people when looking for jobs.
In our third seminar of the year, we will be taking a look at how you can create such a workplace, how to make sure all of your employees are treated equally, the different types of discrimination and how employers can leave themselves open to claims.
By using recent case law, case scenarios and interactive activities, we will discuss topics such as:
- What are reasonable adjustments and how to make them?
- What is positive discrimination?
- How to avoid discrimination claims.
- The future of protected characteristics.
