Three Paralegals begin their training at Warner Goodman LLP!

  • Posted

Hampshire law firm, Warner Goodman LLP, is delighted to announce their three new trainees; Chris Greep, Gina McCadden and Dan Coleman who were all Paralegals with the firm up until September 2016 when they started their Recognised Period of Training.

After studying law at the University of Surrey, Chris joined the firm in 2013 as an intern working for various departments including Employment, Commercial, Injury and Family.  He then moved onto become a Paralegal in Litigation and Employment before beginning his recognised period of training in the Commercial Property team in Portsmouth. “I would like to continue my work in Commercial, Litigation and Employment during the next two years,” Chris commented. “The level of responsibility you have when training is ideal, as is the support network at Warner Goodman. You really feel like a valued member of the team.”

Gina also studied law at the University of Surrey before attending the University of Law in 2015 studying her LPC along with an LLM Masters. Gina gained work experience at the firm in Company Commercial as well as Commercial Property, before becoming a Paralegal in Employment law, and is now enjoying her first seat with the Litigation side of the team. “I’m keen to gain as much experience as I can both from commercial and private sides of the law,” explains Gina. “I’m interested in Company Commercial as well as Family law and personal injury. The atmosphere at Warner Goodman is wonderful, everyone is really approachable and wants to give you the best training possible.  Help is there should you need it, but you’re also given the tools to make your own decisions so you can gain confidence.”

The University of Surrey was certainly a popular choice, as Daniel also studied law here before going to the University of Law to study his LPC. He joined the Family team as an intern in 2014 as part of his placement year. He returned in 2015 as a Paralegal working in the Residential Conveyancing team, and then in Commercial Property. Daniel has begun his training journey in Employment law, working with the members of the Peace of Mind team, a bespoke HR and employment law package delivered to employers across the South. “I’m keen to expand my knowledge in Family law, and also develop further in Company Commercial,” explains Daniel. “At Warner Goodman you’re given responsibility over your own work, but at the same time people are always on hand to assist where necessary. The environment is also a very welcoming one, with everyone striving to succeed and enjoying each other’s successes.”

Welcome to Chris, Gina and Dan, we wish you the best of luck over the next two years!
