Following the successful launch of our Chandler’s Ford office in February this year, we are delighted to announce that we are now able to offer appointments for those looking for advice from our Private Client team.
Sue Nicholson, Associate Solicitor, will be available along with her colleagues, to see individuals in Chandler’s Ford who are contemplating writing a Will, setting up a Lasting Power of Attorney or a Trust, as well as those with more complex queries such as probate and estate administration.
“Our new office in Chandler’s Ford has gone from strength to strength offering conveyancing services to those looking to move home, and we are looking forward to providing another service to the area,” commented Sue. “It is vitally important that everyone considers making a Will and keeping that Will up to date, particularly when a life changing event happens, for example getting married or moving home. There are many different types of Will available to you, including a Life Interest Trust Will, and by coming to us we can discuss with you the best option for your family.”
Our team has over 130 years of collective experience in helping families plan for their future by setting up a Will or Lasting Power of Attorney, and they can also support families when they have lost a loved one. “In this situation, there are many different ways we can help at what will be a distressing and possibly confusing time for you,” continues Sue. “There will be various factors to consider, including whether the person made a Will and the size of their estate, as this will determine whether payments such as Inheritance Tax are due. If you are looking for pragmatic advice about probate and estate administration we are able to offer a free 30 minute appointment to explain those different factors and help you understand the next steps.”
