Local law firm support has no limits

  • Posted

In late September, just as the rest of us may have started to consider packing away our cycling gear, a group of 4 young people were preparing to take part in the Rad Vlaanderen Stuttgart Challenge, an event which involves participants cycling around 500 miles from Bruges in Belgium to Stuttgart in Germany over three days, in relay.  Hampshire based law firm Warner Goodman Commercial, were delighted to sponsor the team from No Limits, and support them in this extraordinary challenge.

“We have a number of keen cyclists at the firm, and are normally the ones taking part in activities such as these,” begins Geoffrey Sturgess, Consultant at Warner Goodman Commercial.  “This event struck a chord with us for a variety of reasons but none more so than the fact that No Limits is an important charity in Southampton, and being a Hampshire based firm we are keen to support our local initiatives.  In the last 12 months alone No Limits have raised just under £1.5million through a variety of activities, something we believe is an incredible achievement that we would like to contribute to.”

No Limits has been running since 1993, and helps young people to find homes when they are homeless, and training or jobs when they are not in education or employment.  They help to keep young people safe with information, advice, counselling and support on a range of issues from sexual health and substance misuse to anger management.  They also provide internet access and meet basic needs for food and hygiene.
