Employment Team grows with newly qualified solicitor

  • Posted

The Employment Team at Hampshire based law firm, Warner Goodman LLP, has recently expanded as Emma Wyatt becomes a fully qualified solicitor after completing her 2 year training contract with the firm.

Emma’s first role as a trainee was in the Employment Team and she has now returned to where it all began. After completing successful terms in the Family and Personal Injury Teams as a trainee, Emma’s role within the firm will be to act for employers on matters including business re-organisations and redundancy schemes, performance management of staff, disciplinary matters and severance terms for executives and for our Peace of Mind Employment Advice Package members.  She will also assist with claimant cases and deal with tribunal claims including, constructive or unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract claims.  Outside of work you can either find her playing badminton or running, or in the kitchen baking.

Howard Robson, Partner and Head of the Employment Team commented, “It’s a delight to welcome Emma into the Employment Team as a qualified solicitor after her successful training with the firm.  Employment Law is ever changing, always in the headlines and complicated, but Emma has demonstrated the ability to take on the challenge.

She will be a great asset to the team given her keen eye for detail, dedication and personable nature when it comes to working with our clients. Emma will also be presenting to our numerous delegates at the firms long established Employment Law seminars and workshops run throughout the year.   We’re very pleased that Emma chose to remain with the firm after her training contract and are sure she will have a successful career in what is one of the most dynamic areas of law.”
