Our Commercial Property Team has welcomed Alex Savage as their latest permanent member of staff as she qualifies as a solicitor.

Alex joined Warner Goodman LLP in April 2012 as a trainee, after studying Law at the University of Southampton.  She spent two out of her three seats as a trainee within the Commercial Property department, based in the firms Portsmouth office, assisting with both residential and commercial transactions.

“After spending the majority of my training contract with the Commercial Property Team, it’s a great sense of achievement to be working alongside them as a solicitor,” says Alex.

Claire Battye, Partner and Head of the Commercial Property Team, congratulated Alex, saying “Over the last 2 years during her training contract, Alex has worked extremely hard getting to know the business and our clients.  The department has grown immensely in recent years and Alex has been a key player in that success, so to see her qualify is a great reward for her work.  We’re thrilled to have her as a member of our team and look forward to watching her career evolve with the firm.”

The Commercial Property Team deal with a wide range of matters including buying and selling any type of commercial freehold or leasehold properties, land development, undertaking lease negotiations, assignments and renewals, land purchase or securitisation and property or construction disputes.  They work with all manner of clients from private buy to let landlords or tenants, retail landlords, housing associations, land developers and financial institutions.  To contact Alex or the team, call 02392 753575 or visit their section of the website here.
