Nick McMurray - Positive Matters 

Nick has spent over a decade helping organisations tackle the risks of substance misuse, particularly in safety-sensitive sectors. After starting out with one of the world’s largest drug & alcohol testing providers, he went on to co-found Positive Matters, driven by a belief that traditional, reactive approaches simply aren’t enough.

At Positive Matters, Nick champions a proactive, preventative strategy one that connects D&A testing with mental health support, encourages responsibility, and genuinely helps employees facing challenges. For Nick, testing isn’t all about punishment, it’s an opportunity to support and lasting change in workplace cultures.

About HR Hangout

As a HR Manager of over 20 years, Cath Dixon understands the challenges HR professionals face daily. As a standalone HR Manager for a significant time, Cath understands the isolation that can be experienced and so she has created a networking group and "safe space" for HR professionals to share and grow.

This is more than just another webinar - it's a community where you can discuss real workplace issues with peers who truly understand.
