Emma joined in 2006, first working as an office administrator before swiftly moving on to join the busy Commercial Property team as a legal assistant.
After six enjoyable years and gaining a good understanding of the property industry, Emma decided it was time to further her knowledge and gain a formal qualification, by embarking on a distant learning course to become a Licensed Conveyancer and Property Lawyer. In May 2015, whilst still studying, Emma was promoted to Associate status due to her hard work and commitment to the team, the first employee to do so without a formal qualification. Emma qualified shortly thereafter passing her finals with a merit.
In her role, she handles a mixture of commercial and complex residential transactions with an emphasis for new build developments, re-mortgages, lease renewals, leasehold extensions/assignments and the acquisition and disposal of investment and development properties. Emma acts for a wide range of clients, from those with a single holding to others with large portfolios, including private individuals, developers, property companies, landlords and tenants.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking and eating out and regularly traveling to the continent where she can be found with a glass of rose in summer and on the ski slopes in the winter.
