Employment Law Masterclass - Practice Makes Perfect

Our always popular Practice Makes Perfect masterclass is back again to guide you through the maze that can be grievance and disciplinary hearings.

Whether it’s an employee lodging a grievance against a colleague, or disciplining an employee for poor conduct, mishandled hearings can lead to damaging repercussions for your business’s reputation as well as finances.

To HR professionals, the legal side of the process can often come easily, but what about the practical side? Using case scenarios, role play and frequently asked questions, we will guide you through the process from start to finish covering topics that will leave you fully equipped to deal with any hearings, investigations or appeals, such as:

• what questions to ask,
• who to interview,
• what makes a good investigation.

While we currently anticipate to be able to hold this event in person, it will be moved to a virtual forum if we either do not have enough interest in physical events or if Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions change.  We have worked closely with the venue in order to ensure Covid-19 safety measures and will be in touch the week before the event to confirm steps when at the venue.

The details for this masterclass are as follows:

Venue: The Media Centre, Hilton Hotel, Ageas Bowl
Timings: Arrival at 8.45am with presentations commencing at 9am.  The event will then conclude at 12noon.
Cost: Places for our masterclasses are charged at £95 + VAT.
