Performance Management Masterclass

Managing your employees to allow them to perform to the best of their ability has always been a balancing act for employers, made harder over the last 12 months in the Covid-19 world we now find ourselves in.  Shifting our management style to remote working and exploring new ways to communicate and keep in touch with our employees has presented a host of challenges, as well as opportunities.  Our employees have embraced this differently; some thriving working from home, feeling more independent with a new work/life balance, while others have struggled to maintain focus and stay motivated.

Our first Employment Law Masterclass of 2021 will focus on how you can manage the performance of your employees and the legal process involved, covering the following topics:

  • How to inspire excellent performance from day 1
  • Probation periods
  • Appraisals – why these are important and the legal requirements
  • Poor performance dismissals – is it capability or conduct?
  • How to conduct performance review meetings and employee rights regarding Performance Improvement Plans.

You will leave our masterclass feeling equipped to identify any performance issues among your workforce, and feel confident that you can approach the situation within the appropriate Employment Law legislation.  Places for our masterclasses book quickly, and while we are offering this as a virtual event, places are still limited to ensure we can facilitate discussions accordingly.  To book your place, register for the event or email Karen Clarkson at karenclarkson@warnergoodman.co.uk, who will then contact you with the correct link for the event and an invoice for payment.

We will always confirm your booking with 48 hours; if you do not receive confirmation, please call Karen on 023 8071 7478.

For our Peace of Mind Members, you can use attendance to the Masterclass as one of your two free places included within your membership (details on our future HR Hangouts and Masterclasses can be found on our Events page, or contact Karen for more details on using your allocation).
