Employment Law Masterclass - Compliant Apprenticeships

Our first masterclass of the year will provide you with all the information you need to ensure your apprentices are on the right documentation.  Apprenticeships continue to be in the spotlight and it is vital that you have issued your apprentices with the right documentation to reduce the risk of an expensive Employment Tribunal claim.

Case law around this topic has failed to provide us with a useful interpretation of the legislation, so our masterclass will bring to you a better understanding of:

• The consequences of having an apprentice with a non-compliant apprenticeship agreement
• How to dismiss an apprentice
• Clauses that are required to ensure compliance
• Common issues and myths on such areas including repayment of training costs, Working Time Regulations and National Minimum Wage
• Recommendations if your apprentices have been issued with the wrong documentation.

We will use examples, relevant case law and case scenarios to bring this topic to life and with spaces likely to go quickly make sure you book your place today. 

Our masterclasses are held in the Hambledon Suite of the Ageas Bowl.  We will begin the morning at 8.45am with arrival and registration, and at 9am we will commence with the presentations.  We aim to close the event at 12noon.
