One of the many benefits of Peace of Mind membership is the opportunity to attend two free events per year to bring you up to date with the latest case law and legislation.  Our next Peace of Mind seminar will be doing exactly this on Thursday 14th March at the Solent Hotel in Fareham.  Arrival is from 9.45am, with the presentations commencing at 10am and we aim to close by 12noon.

During this seminar, we will present to you on a variety of topics including:

  • Case Law and Legislation Update

The last six months have seen notable Employment Tribunal cases on topics such as employment status, the importance of your employees taking their annual holiday entitlement and the consequences of not having the right documentation for your employees.  We will review these cases, providing you with lessons to learn for your business.

We will also review the upcoming and proposed changes to legislation so you are ready and prepared, including itemised pay slips, DBS checks, apprenticeships, immigration checks and tribunal limits.

  • Top ways disciplinaries can go wrong

For the second session of the morning, we will welcome our colleague from our Litigation Team, Howard Robson, who will present on the main ways disciplinary procedures can go wrong, with top tips on how you can avoid that situation!
