November is promising to be an exciting month for Hampshire law firm, Warner Goodman, as the firm are recognised for their achievements. The firm recently announced that they are finalists in the Hampshire Venus Awards for Company of the Year, to be announced on 11th November, and now they can reveal they are also finalists in two categories for the 2017 LawNet Awards.
May 2017 is an exciting month for Hampshire law firm Warner Goodman LLP, as not only have two new Partners been announced, but four members of staff are also being promoted to Associate Status.
With the beginning of a new month comes the start of a new chapter for two members of the Warner Goodman Commercial team based at Southampton as they enter Partnership of the Hampshire law firm. Helen Porter and Torion Bowles from the Commercial Litigation Team have both been promoted to the role of Partner as of 1st May 2017.
Friday 16th December was not a normal day as team members from all three offices of Hampshire law firm, Warner Goodman LLP, took part in Christmas Jumper Day. Everyone pulled on their festive pullovers and raised over £200 for charity, Save the Children.
As we enter December and all wonder how quickly this year has gone by, the teams at Warner Goodman will be digging out their Christmas jumpers ready for Christmas Jumper Day! On Friday 16th December, the annual Save the Children charity day will take place, and staff from all three offices of the Hampshire law firm will take part.
Warner Goodman is delighted to announce an exciting milestone for the firm, promoting seven members of staff to associate status or equivalent, and welcoming three new Equity Partners from the pool of Fixed-share Partners. Dan Thompson, Sarah Brooks and Steve Grant have all been welcomed to new Equity partner roles, taking the total up to eight. These changes highlight the confidence they have in the firm, and its performance.
Since becoming the firm’s first full-time Managing Partner in 1991, Ian Curtis has seen the firm through recessions, external audits and through a period of expansion. As Managing Partner Ian has been instrumental in the firm’s business growth decisions supporting and actively taking part in many fundraising activities including the most recent Marwell Zany Zebra campaign.
A recent survey commissioned by the Legal Services Consumer Panel revealed that only 47% of people in England and Wales trusted Lawyers to tell the truth. That figure dropped to 38% for those aged between the ages of 18-24.
