Suspension of Home Information Packs (HIPs)

With effect from midnight on 20th May 2010, the government have suspended the requirement for properties to require a Home Information Pack.   Sellers will still need to commission an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)before being able to commence marketing of their property.  However, it is not necessary to wait for the EPC to have been received and marketing can start provided it has been commissioned.

All properties marketed prior to the cut off on 20th May will still require a Home Information Pack.
