Every case is different. On 9 penalty points or excessive speeding we can still try to avoid a ban. Stopped, drinking and driving... a ban is almost inevitable but exceptions apply. Failed to provide a specimen - have a reasonable excuse? We can advise where you stand. |

Being nervous is natural...most people are in court. Trust us, we are experts and will do our best for you. Dress smartly, arrive early, show respect to the court. If there is a risk of ban, don't drive to court but bring your licence! |

Give full details. Consider your mitigation... how would a ban affect you and others at home, work and other situations. References are invaluable, in writing and brought to court. If there is a risk of losing your job, let your employer tell us and the court in writing. |
| AFTER COURT | |
If no ban, then well done. If banned and not happy with sentence you have the right to appeal from Magistrates' Court to Crown Court. An appeal is a re-hearing with a judge and 2 independent magistrates. We can even ask for a ban to be suspended pending the appeal hearing. |
