What do you do in the event of an emergency where your safety is at risk from your partner?
Domestic violence, apart from amounting to a criminal offence, has also been proven to have a negative impact on children who have witnessed it. Social Services may therefore become involved if your partner’s behaviour is thought to have affected the children. It may be necessary also for the court to make protective orders in respect of the children which we can help with.
