If you are thinking of granting or taking a lease of premises, our Lease Checklist should prove useful. In 99% of cases by the time you come to instruct WG Commercial’s Property Team you will already have agreed Heads of Terms with your proposed tenant or landlord. The Lease Checklist is designed to help you think about the key terms of your proposed lease. The more that can be agreed before you instruct us the less time we will need to spend taking your instructions on the content of the lease. The less time that we spend on your matter, the more money you save.

It is often said that the “Devil is in the detail”, and it is with this devilish detail that we will assist. Invariably the lease will contain more than just the key features that you have agreed. When drafting or amending the lease documentation we will at all times remain mindful of the nature of the transaction, your business and the type of premises being let. In circumstances where it is apparent that your requirements may potentially prejudice your position in the future, our Commercial Property team will advise you accordingly to enable you to make an informed decision.
