WG Commercial’s Insolvency Team understand the need for time critical and practical solutions in insolvency situations. We are able to advise and conduct proceedings for Insolvency Practitioners in corporate and personal insolvency, including claims against former office holders and against debtors and third parties.

We maintain an efficient Case Management debt recovery system in order to act for Insolvency Practitioners in seeking to recover book debts and assets following their appointment.   We are also able to act for creditor or debtor companies in respect of Winding-up Petitions and other contested insolvency applications.

We are prepared to consider pursuing claims on behalf of Insolvency Practitioners as office holders in corporate or personal insolvency on a conditional fee basis or utilising after the event insurance.

In addition we are able to advise on landlord and tenant and employment issues arising in insolvency situations.

We also have experience of acting for companies and individuals, including former directors and bankrupts in respect of claims being pursued against them by Insolvency Practitioners or creditors.
