Retirement
You can set up a pension for your child your grandchild or any family member or friend if you have some spare cash.
If your employer has a pension scheme it may be a good idea to join it. If your employer is prepared to pay into it, all the better! The younger you start the less you will have to pay in overall.
With a reasonable amount saved you can always suspend payments for a while to furnish a new home or start a family.
In a relationship? Then your pension may need reviewing. Two can’t live as cheaply as one.
Any money left at the end of the month? Maybe you can afford to pay in a bit more.
Retiring soon? There are many different ways of drawing your pension. Find out about them before committing to an arrangement you can't change.
Make sure you have made arrangements for your nearest and dearest to receive some benefit from your savings should anything unexpected happen to you.
